Mildred Aviles—Director Medical Imaging
Mildred began her career at Bellevue Woman’s Hospital in Niskayuna.
During her more than 20 years there, she was a part of an initiative to improve services around neo-natal imaging and OB/gyn ultrasound. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the first comprehensive breast center in the area was opened at Bellevue in the late 90’s.
Mildred came to Saratoga Hospital in 2003, as Manager of Medical Imaging at Wilton Medical Arts, where she focused her efforts on Breast imaging, with the support of a committed team. She created a center that demonstrated quality care with compassion for all who chose the center for their breast care.
In 2011, the center was one of the first in the area to receive the American College of Radiology (ACR)Breast Center of Excellence designation.
In 2010, Millie was promoted to Director of Medical Imaging for Saratoga Hospital and Wilton Medical Arts.
Paula Gallagher—Office Coordinator/Surgical Scheduler
Paula was born and raised in Saratoga Springs. With her husband Kevin, they raised 2 daughters. She has worked more than 10 years in the health care field, including previous positions as a patient access specialist for Family Practice and Radiation Oncology.
She joined the Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care at its opening in September 2015. She functions as the office coordinator and surgical scheduler. She meets with patients and coordinates their pre-surgical testing and scheduling of their breast surgery. She also oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the practice.
Melissa Alling—Patient Access Specialist
Missy is married to her High School Sweetheart, Jamie, and resides in Greenwich, NY. They have 3 children, one who is 19 and twins who are 12. In her free time, she enjoys reading, camping and attending her children’s sporting events.
She has worked for Saratoga Hospital for 4 ½ years. She looks forward to assisting the Breast Center team in providing top quality care for our patients.
Laurie Streeter—Patient Access Specialist
Laurie is a native Vermonter who, along with her husband of 28 years and two sons, 24 and 19, came to New York after living in Goodyear, AZ for 6 years. She has worked in healthcare for more than 30 years in many different roles.
She is working toward achieving her Business Administration degree through SUNY ACC College, which is a personal goal of hers. She is an animal lover and enjoys her 3 dogs. Besides spending time with her dogs, her favorite pass times are reading, playing Scrabble and Candy Crush and Kayaking.
