Screening Mammography is Open!

If you’ve been delaying your regular mammography screening due to COVID-19, delay no more. Our mammography services are available with your health and safety as our top priority.

All patients and employees are screened for symptoms, including a temperature check, before entering the building. Patient care areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between patients. Additionally, we are limiting the number of patients in the mammography suite at any given time.

“The earlier breast cancer is found, the more successful the treatment,” says breast surgeon Patricia Rae Kennedy, MD, FACS, clinical director of Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care. “We are taking every precaution against COVID-19, so you can feel confident to come in for your screening. Don’t delay your care. It is never worth the risk.”

We offer Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D mammography), Breast Ultrasound, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Breast MRI), depending on your individual needs. Learn more about these imaging options and why screening matters here

The Women’s Imaging Center at Wilton Medical Arts, which has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, is welcoming patients Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM. Saturday appointments are available as needed. Medical Imaging at Malta is also open for digital mammography appointments Monday-Friday.

Please do not wait to make an appointment—screenings are key to early detection. Learn more about the team and services at Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care at its dedicated website. To make a screening mammography appointment, please call 518-580-2232.

"I am so happy to have had Dr. Kennedy as my breast surgeon. She is caring and takes her time to explain what I was to expect from my surgery and aftercare. The entire staff is just as caring and they all are just as wonderful as Dr. Kennedy."
